Make sure to use the same email you have used to create your MusicMyBand account, otherwise we won’t be able to approve your requests. Should you have any question on how to create your exclusive Vevo channel and upload videos, just visit our knowledge Base.

“VEVO actively promotes breaking artists through VEVO Lift, and so can help artists reach a new audience. VEVO also aims to sell higher value and longer ads than YouTube, meaning an artist should see more revenue in return for their video views.”

Even though YouTube, Vevo, or any other video channels may allow users from different ages to use their platform, you must be at least 18 years old to use and distribute any content through MusicMyBand. If you are not 18 years old, please do not use our platform in any way. Please be aware that any violation of this policy will cause the suspension of your account and the removal of any content you may have distributed without any further notice, as well as you won’t be able to receive any possible pending royalties (if applicable). Tips: To avoid any possible issues, now or in the near future, please make sure you are following both the video specifications and copyright laws.

Will I be able to log in to my VEVO channel?

No. VEVO manages all the created channels. Should you need to make changes, you must send an email to and we will process your request. Your request should be processed between 1-5 business days, but be aware that delays may occur due to holidays (USA) and/or unforeseen circumstances.

What if I already have a YouTube Channel? Can I merge my views to my new VEVO channel?

No. Your new channel is separate from your existing channel, and for this reason views cannot be merged. If you’d like to direct all your viewers to your VEVO page, you can either remove your video from YouTube or keep it on both sites.
